Until 2010, Sapa Profily a.s. had been using internally developed Lotus Notes databases for quality, security, environmental and administrative management. Because the company management set new and challenging goals in these areas – in particular ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification for the automotive industry – this made it essential to implement new applications in a short timeframe that would meet the demands of the company.

For this purpose, we selected company GI-BON s.r.o. They implemented the specified Q-integra application modules based on Lotus Notes. The documentation in the company has been comprehensively redesigned and new processes have been set for management systems in various fields: administration, documentation, quality, audits, projects and other supporting processes.

If necessary, GI-BON has customized their applications to meet our requirements and they constantly provide support for all the applications. Thanks to the successful implementation of Q-integra modules by GI-BON, Sapa Profily a.s. has a functional IMS, built according to these standards:

• EN ISO 9001:2008 for quality management
• ISO/TS 16949:2009 – expanding on Quality Management Systems (QMS) – special requirements for car and spare parts production organizations
• EN ISO 14001:2004 for environmental management
• OHSAS 18001:2007 for occupational health and safety management
